The CASABREWS 5700 Pro promises a built-in grinder, a 20-bar pump and proper steam power for about half the price of the established mid-range players. After three weeks as our daily machine, the short version: it mostly delivers.
Design and Build
The 5700 Pro is compact for a machine with an integrated grinder. The brushed stainless front panel looks more expensive than it is, while the sides and hopper are plastic โ fine at this price, but worth knowing.
The 34 oz water tank is the first real compromise. Two people drinking lattes will refill it daily.
Espresso Quality
With fresh beans and a little dialing in, shots are consistently good: even extraction, stable crema, and noticeably better temperature stability than anything else we have tested under $300.
The built-in grinder has 15 settings. Steps 6โ8 covered everything we threw at it, from medium roasts to fairly dark Italian-style blends.
Milk Frothing
The steam wand is the part that demands practice. Pressure is adequate but the tip angle makes textbook microfoam harder than it should be. After a week we got latte-art-grade milk โ just expect a learning curve.
How It Compares
If you want one machine with a grinder included, this is the value pick. If you would rather skip the learning curve entirely, look at a super-automatic instead:

Does the CASABREWS 5700 Pro work with pre-ground coffee?
Yes โ a bypass basket lets you use pre-ground coffee, though shots from the built-in grinder with fresh beans were noticeably better in our testing.
How loud is the built-in grinder?
Comparable to a typical blade grinder: loud enough to notice, short enough not to matter. Grinding a double dose takes around ten seconds.
Is 20 bar of pressure actually useful?
Espresso extracts at roughly 9 bar; the 20-bar rating is pump headroom. What matters is that the machine regulates pressure consistently โ and it does.
